Delivery & routes

Can you deliver SMS for casinos in markets where big CPaaS providers refuse gambling traffic?

Yes — that is what InterConnect is built for. We deliver promotional and transactional messaging for licensed iGaming operators in markets where such traffic is legal, using direct operator connections and routes audited per GEO. We do not deliver to markets where gambling messaging is prohibited by law.

How do you avoid carrier filtering of casino and bonus keywords?

We audit routes per GEO, register sender IDs where the market supports them, and adapt content and channel mix to each carrier's rules. When SMS filtering is heavy, cascades shift traffic to Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram first and use SMS as a fallback, so campaigns keep delivering instead of dying on one channel.

Do you support alphanumeric sender IDs for gambling traffic?

Where the destination market allows them. Sender ID rules differ by country: some require pre-registration, some allow only numeric senders, and some prohibit branded senders for gambling. We advise on what is available per GEO during route planning and handle registration where it applies.

What delivery quality can we expect?

We quote realistic per-route expectations instead of one global number, because delivery depends on the destination market, channel and sender type. Routes are monitored 24/7 by our NOC, and delivery reports come back over webhooks so you can verify performance against your own numbers.

Channel policies

Can casinos use the WhatsApp Business API?

Only in markets and cases Meta approves for real-money gambling, and approval must be obtained — WhatsApp's commerce policy restricts gambling content by default. We help operators go through the approval process where it is available and route around WhatsApp with Viber, Telegram or SMS where it is not.

Can casinos use Viber Business Messages?

Viber restricts gambling content in some markets and allows it under conditions in others. We check the current Rakuten Viber policy for each destination and, where Viber is not available for gambling content, build the cascade on channels that are — typically Telegram and SMS.

Is Telegram allowed for casino messaging?

Telegram is generally the most permissive OTT channel for iGaming and is widely used for player communication. We deliver Telegram messages as part of cascades, typically as the low-cost first step before Viber, WhatsApp or SMS fallback.

What is a message cascade and how is it billed?

A cascade sends each message through an ordered chain of channels — for example Telegram, then WhatsApp, then SMS — moving to the next channel only if the previous one did not deliver. You pay only for the channel that actually delivered, which is why cascades usually cost less than SMS-only sending.

Commercial & onboarding

What are your minimum volumes?

There is no hard minimum to start a conversation. Pricing and routing are built per GEO and per channel, so smaller focused volumes in a few markets work fine; larger volumes unlock better direct-route pricing. Tell us your GEOs and monthly volumes and we will quote accordingly.

How is pricing structured?

Per GEO and per channel. You tell us your target markets, expected volumes and use cases (promo, OTP, or both), and we return a route plan with per-channel rates. Cascades are billed by the channel that delivered, so the blended rate is usually lower than SMS-only.

How fast can we go live?

Integration is the fast part: HTTP API and SMPP connections typically go live in days, and CRM integrations such as Customer.io or Planfix connect without custom development. Route setup per GEO, sender registration and any channel approvals run in parallel and depend on the destination markets.

Which CRMs and systems do you integrate with?

Customer.io and Planfix out of the box, plus HTTP API, SMPP and webhooks for delivery reporting — so any CRM or in-house campaign engine that can call an API can trigger our messaging. You keep your segmentation and journeys; we handle delivery.

Compliance

How do opt-outs work?

Every promotional campaign includes a compliant opt-out mechanism, backed by an unsubscribe portal and audit trail. Opt-out lists are enforced automatically across channels, and DND handling is built into sending, so suppressed players are not contacted again.

Are you GDPR compliant? Do you provide a DPA?

We process personal data only to deliver messages on the operator's behalf and can enter into a data processing agreement as part of onboarding. Contact form data on this site is described in our privacy policy.

What happens if a market's rules change?

Carrier rules and OTT platform policies change regularly — that is normal in this vertical. Our routing team tracks per-GEO changes, adjusts routes and cascade order, and tells you when a channel or sender type becomes unavailable in a market, along with the compliant alternative.
